Sophie Turner Opens Up About Her Relationship With Joe Jonas

Los Angeles, Jul 07: Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have definitely been keeping a low profile as a couple, but they seem to be opening up a bit more to the spotlight lately. They recently made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala (although they didn’t pose for any photos), and rumor has it that the pair has a pretty special relationship – one that’s different from others each has experienced in the past.
The Game of Thrones actress is now speaking out even more about her love life, with the emphasis that the details of her relationship with Joe are personal for her. In an interview with the UK’s Sunday Times, Sophie stated: “I’m in a relationship, but it’s a very private relationship.” She went on to explain that she’s grown a lot in recent months, finding ways to overcome feeling isolated and insecure. “I very much isolated myself for a while and forgot what was fun,” Sophie explained. “Going out with friends, going out to eat, not really having a care. And people I’ve met recently in my life have drawn me out of that. It really helps you own those insecurities. The things I tortured myself about before, I can forget about.”
While Sophie didn’t specifically name Joe, it’s possible that their relationship has contributed to her positive state of mind. This isn’t the first time that she hinted that things were going well between the two of them; earlier this spring, she talked to InStyle about the benefits of dating someone who is also a celebrity. “I found it easier to date someone who understands the industry or is in that world,” she said. “You realize that you’re not going to see each other all the time. And you don’t feel like a jerk when you’re like, ‘My publicist says I can’t do this.’” Considering that both of them have demanding schedules, it definitely seems like they have a pretty solid outlook – and that’s certainly key for happiness.
