Veteran Congress leaders join BJP

ITANAGAR, May 31: In yet another major jolt to the Congress party in state, its veteran leaders B C Tok, general secretary Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) and spokesperson Vishal P Nabam along with many senior Panchayat leaders on Wednesday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

A grand joining-in ceremony was in this regard organised at the BJP’s state head office here in which BJP state president, Tapir Gao, state organising secretary, Ramesh Kadaganchi, general secretary Biyuram Wahge along with various other office bearers and  karyakartas of the Saffron party accorded a warm welcome to the new members.

Expressing that the joining of two senior leaders of INC is indeed a very good sign for the party, Gao while congratulating the duo and panchayat leaders sought their proactive contribution to the party in the coming days.

The members who joined expressed their confidence and faith in the strong and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, chief minister Pema Khandu and Gao.
