ITANAGAR, Jul 11: Arunachal Pradesh Governor PB Acharya visited the Nanaji Deshmukh Public Library cum e-Library managed by a non-governmental organisation at Vivek Vihar here on Tuesday.

State ministers Tamiyo Taga and Dr Mohesh Chai, state Bharatiya Janata Party President Tapir Gao and many party functionaries accompanied him.

The governor was impressed by the large collection of e-books, which stands at 39,000. “It must be the largest library in terms of e-books,” he said.

Acharya congratulated the Gao-led BJP functionaries for the facility. He hoped that the facility will promote the ideology of visionary leaders such as Deshmukh.

The governor suggested that it must be made available to the public so that most people benefit from it. He also advised the library officials to make it more purposeful.
