MoRTH officials inspect road projects

ITANAGAR, Nov 14:  Prominent officials of the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highway (MoRTH) led by its Additional Director General (ADG), I K Pandey and Regional Officer, Tezpur R K Singh, accompanied by officials of the state PWD on Monday carried out inspection of various road projects being initiated in and around the Capital Complex.
The team first visited the under construction four-lane road from Chandanagar to Papu Nallah (NH-415) being constructed by T K Engineering Consortium Pvt Ltd which was followed later by visits to the Papu-Hoj Potin Trans Arunachal Highway and the Potin-Panngin road in Yazali circle.
The officials also inspected the construction work at Hoj-Nichipu road, the same which is being carried on by SUSHEE Infra and Mining Ltd.
After the inspection, Pandey in his interaction with the officials concerned directed them to work with sincerity so that the road connectivity improves and also the people of the state get good roads.
Pandey further directed the consultant of PWD to formulate a DPR for construction of RCC Bridge over river Pare near Hoj measuring 80 + 40 + 40 metres without disturbing the free flow of the traffic.
Among others Highway Superintending Engineer, Doggum Ete, Capital Circle SE Rotu Techi, Doimukh Highway Division Executive Engineer in-charge, T T Tara, officials from T K Engineering, SUSHEE etc were also present on the occasion.
