BJMM organizes awareness camps in Siang belt

ITANAGAR, Mar 14: To create awareness amongst the Mahila Karyakartas about various schemes launched by the Central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, member of state Bharatiya Janata Mahila Morcha (BJMM) led by its president Bengia Yayang Tadar from March 11 to 13 last made a whirlwind tour of Siang, West Siang and East Siang districts.

The touring team was accompanied by general secretary Techi Mamta, vice president Osi Paboh and media in-charge Tania Yapa Toko.

While addressing a series of meeting at Belong, Aalo, Pasighat, the resources persons called for active participation of women in political and social issues in order to emancipate a concrete women empowerment in the society.

President Tadar in her speech stressed upon various party matters such as on maintaining party discipline for the activation of party work from grass root levels and proper coordination among the workers for smooth and active functioning of the party.

Other spokespersons like general secretary Mamta and explained schemes like Beti Bacho, Beti Padawo, Jan Dhan Yojana etc while vice president Paboh emphasised on the pregnancy schemes.

Benefits of cashless transition, digital payment and various other flagship schemes of NDA government were explained by Tania Yopa.

The meetings among others were also addressed by BJMM district presidents Abin Mize, Tabong Mibang and State Council Member Taje Komut etc.
