Bandh declared illegal

ZIRO, Mar 16: Lower Subansiri DM Kemo Lollen vide an order U/S 144 CRPC has declared the 12-hour bandh call by All Lower Subansiri District Youth Association (ALSDYA) on March 17 next as illegal. 
The order which stated that bandh calls only causes untold misery and hardships to patients, students and business community in particular and the public at large has directed ALSDYA to refrain and desist from enforcing such bandh calls. 
The order also stated that any damages or destruction to public or private properties shall be recovered from the bandh callers. 
Meanwhile, all business establishments and markets within Lower Subansiri have been directed to remain open, failing which their trading license would be liable to be suspended. DIPRO
