ROING, Mar 06: To review the progress of Mission Indradhanush (MI) Phase-IV (1st round), the 3rd district task force meeting on immunization was on Monday held under the chairmanship of Lower Dibang Valley DC Deepak Shinde here.
Speaking on the meeting, the DC expressed dissatisfaction over the reports submitted by heath workers of some blocks and urged the medical team to maintain and record data under both MI and RI drives in the future.
Shinde further exhorted them to submit due list and micro plan well in advance and all relevant reports by March 31 next.
For those parents who are reluctant to immunize their children for religious issues or other reasons, he directed the DMO to form a team including their religion leaders to convince them for immunization.
The DC also emphasized on tracking of non immunized children in every block.
DRCHO Dr R Mena in his presentation highlighted the progress of mission and informed that in the MI-Phase IV- 1st round, a total of 122 out of 126 targeted children were vaccinated and 20 children were fully immunized.
DMO Dr D Wange and MO Dr Ista Pulu also spoke on the occasion.
