Micro observes briefed on their roles

SEPPA, Dec 18: Polling stations were distributed among polling teams through a randomization process conducted here on Monday in presence of Election Commission of India’s General Observer, M Joy Singh, DEO Rajeev Takuk and representatives of the contesting candidates.
In a training conducted later in the day, General Observer Singh and election coordination officer D K Thungon briefed the micro observers on their role, power n responsibilities 
while DEO Takuk reiterated his call for a free, fair and peaceful conduct of the election.
The training also saw police personnel and magistrates being sensitized about their roles and duties while the movement plan and security deployment details were elaborated in a separate meeting conducted on the latter half of the day. DIPRO
