BANDERDEWA, Apr 07: Renovation works of the Banderdewa-Nirjuli stretch of NH 415 has been taken up on war footing.
The portion of the road badly affected every year during the monsoon.
On Friday, a team of officers from Highway department led by Chief Engineer Toli Bassar inspected the work progress and directed the executing agency to maintain quality so that the commuters enjoy a comfortable ride.
Executing firm M/S Vivek Enterprise Proprietor Taha Tagru said that the specific work which started from Karmajuli bridge point in Nirjuli would be completed up to Banderdewa Check gate within 30-45 days. He said that with adequate sufficient manpower and machineries the farm would try to complete the work in time without compromising on the quality.
