Parliamentary secretaries’ constituency tours end

TAWANG, Nov 14: The constituency development tours of Parliamentary Secretary for RWD cum Lumla MLA Jambey Tashi and Tawang MLA Tsering Tashi concluded on Tuesday with the legislators addressing the villagers at Gispu and Sherbang of Lumla Circle and Soma of Kitpi Circle respectively.
While the tour of Jambey Tashi commenced on November 01 last from Pamaghar village, Tsering Tashi on the other hand first visited Shyo village on November 05.
The main objective of the tour was to take stock of the development activities at grassroot level and also to reach out to those who had been oblivious of the various development initiatives taken by the government.
Keeping this in mind, both the MLAs during the tour covered various villages under their constituency and interacted with the dwellers.
During the meetings convened, the MLAs gave a patient hearing to the grievances put forth by the villagers and assured to address those at the earliest.
Both the legislators also created awareness regarding the various government sponsored schemes rolled out keeping in mind the growth of entrepreneurship amongst the unemployed youths towards strengthening sectors like farming, weaving etc amongst others.
Social security schemes by which the government has taken the responsibility to ensure its citizens get minimum standard of welfare were also explained at length. Further, advocating for self employment, the MLAs requested the public to volunteer oneself towards availing the benefits offered by government towards skill upgradation.
Reiterating on the government’s commitment towards upliftment of various sections of the society, the MLAs requested for commitment and cooperation from all for its realisation. Further, emphasizing on harmonious relations as prerequisite for economic as well as social development, the legislators urged everyone to tread along the path of peace. DIPRO
