ITANAGAR, Sep 19: The Sports and Youth Affairs department has issued a directive to all sports associations registered under the Sports Authority of Arunachal and the Arunachal Olympic Association to submit a comprehensive year-wise annual achievement report from 2014-15 to 2023-24, along with a list of past and current athletes associated with them.
According to the order issued by sports and youth affairs secretary, Abu Tayeng, the reports must be submitted in a prescribed format within 15 days from the date of the order i.e September 17.
The associations have been mandated to provide both hard and soft copies of their report to the office of the director of sports & director.
In addition, the associations have been asked to submit activity reports every three months, with copies sent to the Sports Authority of Arunachal director for record-keeping.
Secretary Tayeng emphasized that failure to comply with these requirements may result in the suspension of grants and other support to the associations.
