AALO, Nov 29: As many as twenty-five patients received treatment during a free ENT surgery camp held at the general hospital here on Friday.
The camp, organized by Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti in collaboration with Aalo general hospital and MENTS Hospital, Bengaluru, aimed to provide accessible healthcare to the region.
Inaugurating the event, West Siang superintendent of police Tumme Amo urged the public to prioritize their health.
He commended Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti for facilitating the initiative, noting its potential to save patients both time and money.
District medical officer Dr Dubom Bagra encouraged the organizers to arrange similar health camps in the future to enhance medical outreach in the area.
The surgical procedures are being conducted by a team of specialists from MENTS Hospital, Bengaluru, led by Dr Pradeep Kumar.
The inaugural programme was attended by Arun Jyoti Nagar sanchalak Doge Jini, North East Frontier Technical University vice-chancellor Dr Tejum Padu, Aalo general hospital medical superintendent Dr K Rina along with doctors, nurses, and senior citizens.
