Arunachal duo given top NEHDF roles

ITANAGAR, Nov 09: Hockey Arunachal president Gumjum Haider and association secretary Sonam Tenzing have been unanimously elected as senior vice president and joint secretary, respectively, of the North East Hockey Development Forum (NEHDF) for the 2024-2028 term.

The election took place Thursday at the Nowgong Sports Association in Nagaon, Assam, with the aim of advancing hockey development across the northeastern region.

The NEHDF will be headed by Gyanendro Ningombam of Manipur as president, with Tapan Kumar Das of Assam serving as secretary general.
