DLMC meeting held

AALO, Nov 29: West Siang deputy commissioner Mamu Hage has called on works departments to ensure timely completion of ongoing projects while maintaining high standards of quality. 

During a district-level monitoring committee (DLMC) meeting to assess the progress of state- and centrally funded projects here on Friday, the DC directed implementing agencies to promptly report any obstacles encountered during execution.

She emphasized her commitment to closely monitoring development by conducting physical inspections of projects across the district’s three assembly constituencies: Aalo West, Aalo East, and Liromoba. 

Highlighting key priorities, Hage instructed the Kamba division of PWD to expedite work on the steel bridge over the Yomgo River, which will connect Kamba town with Kambu village. 

The meeting was attended by West Siang zilla parishad chairperson Tumpe Ete, administrative officers and executive engineers from various works departments.
