Netball team preps for Nat’l battle

Itanagar, Mar 25: The Netball Association of Arunachal Pradesh (NAAP) has announced its team's participation in the 3rd Fast 5 Netball Championship, scheduled for March 30 to April 2 in Chandigarh, Punjab.

At a jersey and tracksuit unveiling ceremony in Itanagar, NAAP officials expressed the team's readiness for the national tournament, hosted by the Netball Sports Promotion Association, Chandigarh.

Bengia Pilia, Vice President (Admin) of the All Arunachal Pradesh Students' Union, pledged support for netball's development and highlighted the urgent need for a dedicated, long-term coach.

NAAP General Secretary, Techi Tongum, emphasized the progress of netball in Arunachal Pradesh and reiterated the crucial requirement for a skilled coach to further improve the team's performance.

Team coach Kipa Nani, team Manager Techi Tongum along with team captain Likha Tai and others will be leaving tomorrow to participate in the championship.
