Priyanka Mena bags chairman’s gold medal

ITANAGAR, Dec 10: Priyanka Mena, an M Tech student of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship department, was awarded the Chairman’s Gold Medal at the 11th convocation of the Jote-based National Institute of Technology (NIT).

Hailing from Singa village in Upper Siang district, Priyanka is the daughter of Namne Mena and Late B Mena.

She demonstrated exceptional perseverance and academic brilliance, progressing from a BTech in Civil Engineering to an MTech in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. A proud alumnus of Ramakrishna Sarada Mission School, Khonsa, and Manav Rachna International University, Priyanka’s academic journey has been exemplary.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu congratulated Priyanka for her remarkable achievement.

 “It is heartening indeed to see many more girls carving a niche for themselves in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship. May your achievements inspire future generations to strive for excellence and innovation. Wishing you all success in your future endeavors!” Khandu said in a social media post.
