Santoor maestro performs

Itanagar, Mar 25: Renowned Santoor maestro, Pandit Satish Vyas, captivated a large audience with a classical music concert at the Indira Gandhi Government College, Tezu Auditorium.

Organized by SPIC-MACAY-SRF in association with the college, the event drew students, faculty, and staff.

Pandit Satish Vyas, son of the late Padma Vibhushan C.R. Vyas, and a Padma Shri awardee himself, delivered a mesmerizing performance.

Dr. MK Jana, HoD and Associate Professor, felicitated the artist and emphasized the significance of the event, particularly at the start of the academic session, noting it was the first of its kind in Arunachal Pradesh.

During an interactive session, Pandit Vyas discussed the growing appeal of classical music in combating modern-day stress and depression.
