ITANAGAR, Mar 12: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Sunday inaugurated the grand new eating place, Kitchen King Restaurant for the food connoisseurs at Chandranagar Market here.
Congratulating the Kitchen King Management for coming up with such venture, Mein said that the local entrepreneurship is the sign of progress and development of state, reports PRO.
Local entrepreneurs must make good use of the conducive atmosphere to invest in state and for this the government is ready to extend all possible help to them to boost the local economy, said Mein.
Today the youths are the greatest wealth and strength of any nation and to direct the energy of our youths in constructive channels that lead to development and progress. The state government has come up with many skill development policies which have been already highlighted in the budget, he added.
The minister appreciated initiative of the restaurant management for their professionalism and said that they are the role model that would inspire other youths towards setting goal of self-reliance and employment generation.
It is the age of Information Technology, facilities are aplenty and entrepreneurship is a way for youths to ensure proper utilization of IT sector for their self-efficiency and employment, he said.
Minister Industries and Cooperation Tamiyo Taga said that good hotels and restaurant are integral part of tourism infrastructure which is needed to attract tourist to our region. I am happy to see new places coming up in the city and better hotels and restaurants are a welcome step as such places become attractions for tourists also.
Prominent among others who were present on the occasion included former minister Takam Pario, Rubber Board chairman Tame Phassang, Hydropower CE Jummar Kamdak, RWD secretary Kapa Kholie and Science and Technology secretary Gaken Ete, the report added.
