BJP to observe Sewa Pakhwada

ITANAGAR, Sep 16: The state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will observe Sewa Pakhwada from September 17 to October 2 next.

The fortnight-long event will commence on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday and conclude on Gandhi Jayanti.

Arunachal BJP vice president and Sewa Pakhwada state convenor Tarh Tarak announced that the party will conduct various activities during this period, including free health camps, blood donation drives, Swachhata Abhiyan, fruit distribution to hospital patients, tree plantation drives in schools, and the launch of Ayushman Bharat.

Tarak noted that the party will involve state, district, and mandal units, as well as the BJP Yuva Morcha, Mahila Morcha, ST Morcha, Minority Morcha, and Kisan Morcha in the observance. Committees have been set up at state, district, and mandal levels to ensure the smooth execution of the events.

The announcement was made during a meeting attended by BJP media in-charge Dolang Tako, BJP Yuva Morcha president Retemso Manyu, and other party members.
