Directorates mourn Megu's passing

Naharlagun, Mar 25: Officers and staff from the Directorates of Audit & Pension, Small Savings, and Social Audit Unit gathered to mourn the passing of former Director of Audit & Pension, Yaling Megu.

Megu, who dedicated over 32 years to public service, was remembered for his integrity, dedication, and commitment. He began his career in 1978 and held various key positions, including Accounts Officer, Chief Accounts Officer, Joint Director of Accounts & Treasuries, and Director of Accounts & Treasuries. Following the creation of the Directorate of Audit & Pension in 2000, he served as its Director until his retirement.

Colleagues recalled Megu's professionalism, ethical values, and significant contributions to financial administration in Arunachal Pradesh. They acknowledged his positive influence and prayed for his eternal peace, recognizing his legacy as a guiding light.

Megu is survived by his wife, two sons, and two daughters.
