Phuntso to represent Arunachal in Asia Enduro Series

ITANAGAR, May 09: One Dorjee Phuntso, a member of the Tawang Cycling Association (TCA) and a resident of Mukutur village in Tawang, has embarked on a remarkable journey to Sri Lanka to represent Arunachal Pradesh in the esteemed Asia Enduro Series.

The Asia Enduro Series is a renowned platform that showcases the skills and determination of mountain bikers from across the continent.

The event aims to offer the host nation a chance to engage in international mountain bike racing and brings together racers from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

The main event is scheduled to take place at AYR Estate in Sri Lanka from May 11 to 12.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed his delight at Phuntso's participation, highlighting him as the sole participant from Arunachal Pradesh in this prestigious event.

He extended his best wishes to Phuntso, encouraging him to continue excelling and bringing pride to the state.

“So delighted to see that Shri Dorjee Phuntso, a member of Tawang Cycling Association, and resident of Muktur village in Tawang, has left for Sri Lanka to compete in the prestigious Asia Enduro Series. He is the sole participant from Arunachal Pradesh to take part in the event. My best wishes. Keep excelling,” the CM said in a tweet.
