ITANAGAR, May 08: North Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced the operation of AC summer special trains between SSS Hubballi Junction in Karnataka and Naharlagun, aimed at easing travel for passengers during the summer rush.
The special train, numbered 07387/07388, will run for five trips each in both directions.
The train departing as special train no. 07387 from SSS Hubballi Junction to Naharlagun will leave at 12:05 hours every Wednesday from May 8 to June 5, 2024, reaching Naharlagun at 23:00 hours on Friday.
In the return direction, train no. 07388 from Naharlagun to SSS Hubballi Junction will depart at 23:00 hours every Saturday from May 11 to June 8, 2024, arriving at SSS Hubballi Junction at 09:00 hours on Tuesday.
To provide comfort to passengers, the AC special trains will feature AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, and AC 3-tier economy coaches. The route of the special train covers stations including Gadag, Hospet, Guntakal, Guntur, Vizianagaram, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Kharagpur, New Jalpaiguri, New Bongaigaon, and Rangapara North, among others.
