Yuva Katha Samman awarded to Dr Jamuna Bini

ITANAGAR, Apr 22: The prestigious Yuva Katha Samman, conferred annually in memory of the renowned Hindi short story writer and critic, Dr Vijaymohan Singh, was awarded to Dr Jamuna Bini of Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) this year.

The award ceremony took place at the Rotary Club of Shimla in Himachal Pradesh on Sunday evening.

Dr Bini, an assistant professor in RGU’s Hindi department, was honored for her exceptional collection of short stories titled 'Ayachit Atithi Aur Anya Kahaniyan', a press release informed.

The award recognizes her outstanding contribution to Hindi literature and her innovative storytelling prowess.
