Demise mourned

AALO, Apr 16: The teaching fraternity and staff of the West Siang education department have deeply mourned the demise of Kabom Basar, a primary teacher serving at the Government Upper Primary School at Panya near here.

Late Basar breathed his last on Monday after a brief illness. He was 51 and is survived by his wife, a son, and two daughters.

“Basar was known for his dedication and sincerity as a teacher, and his demise has created a significant void in the teaching community of West Siang district. We convey our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul,” the West Siang unit of Arunachal Teachers’ Association (ATA) said in a statement.
