Mein files nominations

NAMSAI, Mar 26: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein filed his nomination for the April 19 assembly polls at the deputy commissioner’s office here on Tuesday.

Mein will contest from 46th Chowkham Assembly Constituency in Namsai district as a BJP candidate.

Following the nomination process, Mein expressed his commitment to continue the journey of transformation initiated under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu and the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He also emphasized the BJP’s dedication to fulfilling the long-term aspirations of the people.

“Filed my nomination for the 46th Chowkham (ST) A/C at Namsai today. Under the leadership of HCM Sri @PemaKhanduBJP ji and guidance of HPM, Sri @narendramodi ji, we are committed to carry forward the journey of transformation towards fulfilling the long-term aspirations of people,” the deputy chief minister said in a post on X.

Arunachal Pradesh will go for simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in the first phase on April 19 next.
